Used Istanbul Agop Signature 16" Hi Hats t-1196g b-1322g
Well loved 16" Agop Sig's. Like a great pair of blue jeans. Most of the top hat logo has faded. There's an L shaped divot from the manufacturing process, usually caused by a piece of ash or ember landing on the cymbal as it's getting rolled out. No signs of cracking. This is exactly what makes hand hammered cymbals cool. Because of the divot, Agop could have removed these from the manufacturing process but they decided, "Nope!! These are going to be cool just like this!" There's a couple minor flea bites but nothing terrible.
They sound fantastic, not too chonky (yes, chOnky) and not too papery for 16"s. Why buy a new pair without actually hearing them first? The attached video is the actual set of hats for sale.
