Used Zildjian 'A' 18" China 1536g
Used Zildjian China. Most likely made in Canada. Actually there is no stamp or markings of any kind on this cymbal. How do we know it's a Zildjian? It came from a lot of cymbals we found from the same owner who had all these cymbals in Canada. The lathing and hammering are characteristic of Zildjian craftsmanship.
There is also, what appears to be, a manufacturing defect on the edge of the cymbal. It's not a crack! It feels like a divot or shallow spot in the bronze. Very interesting to see something like this in the wild. Maybe this is why there is no marking as to the maker? Is it possible this wasn't supposed to leave the factory?
