We challenged the good people at Artisan Turk for their take on a hand formed bell. Nearly all production cymbals (either machine made or hand hammered) are made with a machine stamped bell. These are formed by hand hammering. Hand forming the bell brings out more complexity in tone.
These prototypes also feature a minimal pin lathe top and bottom.
Smooth, buttery, warm and slightly trashy.
