Smooth and crashy. It's right at the weight to be considered a crash ride.
Play it softly and you are rewarded with classic, clean 'A' tone. Lay into it and the top end opens up for a big, broad crash with a good amount of sustain. All of it is slightly subdued by the years of glorious patina.
A slight amount of keyhole. Otherwise no issues.
