Nothing wrong with this guy, it's brand new. A store closed and we bought up their inventory. This one has fingerprints on it top and bottom. We tend to think that fingerprint and patina build-up give the cymbal character. That's why it's on sale. It doesn't look "new."
Discovering Kervan and American Artist series cymbals is like getting the keys to a small-town Mom & Pop music store that has been closed since 1978. Inside, the light is dim; dust and cobwebs cover the store fixtures. In the stock room you find some old cardboard boxes marked “cymbals.” Inside the boxes are new, old-stock cymbals made in Istanbul (Kervan) and the U.S. (American Artist). Untouched for decades, you test them with a dusty old drumstick and find the coolest, factory-fresh, vintage cymbal sounds you ever heard.
