We tend to stay away from student model cymbals because they all tend to sound the same. They're perfect for when you're starting out and you don't know the difference between a Spizzichino and a ZBT.
We couldn't pass on this one though. A branded CB-700 ride. Using B8, these early ones were said to be made in Italy by UFIP.
It has mojo that other student model cymbals don't have. Maybe it's because the bronze is 40 plus years old. Maybe it's because more time and effort went into making student model stuff back then. Regardless, it sounds cool. Higher in pitch with excellent stick attack. This would be great in the studio or general "house kit" vibe.
