Smooth and expressive. They have a sandy, papery quality to the tone. But these aren't wimpy. That expressive tone has been ramped up.
You have those hats that sound great at lower volumes, but when you push them, they kinda crap out. Not these. That tone comes out more when you lay into them.
Super versatile.
