You can tell that this is an older K Custom not just by the look of it (and the serial number, 1998) but by the sound. New K Customs don't have this mellowed, wisened tone. It feels like some of the sharper tonal edges have been softened. At any rate, it's great. Medium length decay come after a slow-to-develop crash.
Logos are fading and there's lotsa patina.
